The flow of thoughts!

I was driving to clinic today morning and on radio 92.7 FM, they were playing all lovely songs of Raj Kapoor films with intermittent short true excerpts from his life. I really enjoyed hearing them and have discovered today I am in love with the kind of person Raj Kapoorji was! New found love ;) Another mind connect happened today and that is around 11 am they played the song, " Kisiki muskuraahaton pe ho nissar, kisika dard le sake to le udhaar, kisi ke vaaste ho tere dil me pyaar.. jeena isika naam hai!" and click click went my mind....it jumped back to the write up my brother wrote a few days back... what he said and what this song means are just identical twins! just put up in different words... So interesting to learn that same thoughts can come across in different peoples' minds at different times but context  remains the same! The flow of thoughts just continue!

Message from God for me!

Yesterday I drove my Mom to a market for shopping and while driving, she uttered something beautiful which made a very lasting impression on my mind. On Mumbai roads its become frustrating to drive because of ever increasing number of cars, bad conditions of roads, cars and pedestrians  not obeying traffic rules and so on. When for same reason, I stopped by a car to ask how could he park the car on main road causing nuisance to others, my Mom asked me to drive past him and said the following :

Doosron ki bhoolon ko point out karne ke badle, Unhe sudhaarna seekho!!!

These words became very thought provoking for me and I thought to myself, "Mom is soooo right because even I might have committed mistake somewhere sometime! and no one is perfect"

In the later part of the day, a friend sent me a message which said -

"If others are behaving nasty, instead of reacting with irritability, try becoming compassionate towards them!" quoted by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

and similar messages on same day repeated, I feel, is no coincidence...but is a message to me from God because similar messages from different people on same day is reinforcing same point!!!

Thankyou God for always guiding my thoughts :)

From my Brothers' Desk

Life is a journey. A journey to death. Or it can also be viewed as a beginning of the end.
I want to live for ever... even after death. Like in a game, Life and Death are two players and for these vital players We are the GAME.
It is us who have to choose who will win even after the game ends. A day will come when the game ends and the only thing that is remembered is the Winner.

If Life is the one you want to win then you will have to live even after death. Is it possible? I really dont know!  All that I know is, people never die... they survive in other living beings as a memory... As an image...!!
But that also dies often after death...

I want to live.. Not necessarily in too many living beings... Few will also do; but want to live through out. I dont want Life to loose ever.
"Living life in others' soul is more joyful than living as yourself."
When you are deeply loved and revered, your life gets or earns another life that is life after.

God is immortal - that means he is remembered even though he is not physically here.. Because of deep love and respect for him.
Love your life and Live to live after death.

Kashmakash....!!!

Pehchaan hone se to behtar tha ek doosre se anjaane hi rehna,
Door se hi sahi... dil se poochtey to the "kaise ho" !!!
Karibi se jaise aur bhi badh gayi dooriyaan..
Aitbaar par se jaise uth hi gaya bharosa..
Dil me jagey gile shikve.. wahem ban gayi kamzoriyaan
Kaisi hai jeevan ki ye kashmakash,
Ek taraf jhoothe lagtey hai rishtey natey
To ek taraf karte rehna hai isi sach ka saamna!!!

Kal Aaj Aur Kal!!!

Jo mai sochti hoon,
Kya vohi sabka haal hai?
Insaanon ki basti mein,
Paisa hi bhagwaan hai???
Rang badalte hai har mausam
Sirf Paise ka rang bemisaal hai!
Har koi apne aap ko bekasoor samajta hai yahan,
Yahan to sirf paisa hi kasoorvaar hai!
Vahi log choohe ban jaate hai jab Naav doobti hai toofan mein
Jo bhi tajurbey hue hai, beshak laajawaab hai
Isika naam Zindagi hai,
Isika naam sangharsh hai!
Kehne waala keh gaya aur Waah!  kya baat keh gaya!
Kal jo daur tha woh aaj bhi hai, kal bhi rahega
Badlega, to Siraf Insaan ka chehra badlega!!!

As rightly we hear in the song from Movie Anaadi
"dil kaa chaman ujadte dekha
 pyaar ka rang utarte dekha
 hamane har jeene vaale ko
 dhan daulat pe marate dekha
dil pe marane vaale marenge bhikhaari
sach hai duniyaavaalon ki ham hain anaadi"

LOVE INFINITE!!!

Though my feelings remain concealed,
Today, I want my affection to reveal.
Although Times will never be the same again,
You'll always be my Ideal...Time and Again!
Love has its own language to speak,
The way you cared for me, when I was weak.
The excitement together on a roller-coaster ride
& the Joy of Togetherness during our holidays kept distances aside...
My step on the threshold of my Career,
Chased out the worries and brought happiness manifold...
The tears in your eyes revealed your feelings of pride untold!
As I go through different shades of memories old,
It brings a gamut of emotions, from those warm and cosy to those bitter and cold...
Engraved in my heart will remain all this nostalgic past,
& stay with me till I breath my last!
My heart reckons the GOD in YOU,
My Loving Parents & Dadda,
Today whatever I am, its all because of You,

LOVE YOU MOMMY, DADDY & DADDA

Long way to go for a Goons-Free administration in India

I am learning the realities of life in so-called Democratic India the harder way.... In a country inhabited by the god-fearing people, ther are still Shaitans who thrive on innocence of such people, in a country of numerous holy saints, there is still Goonda Raj, and in a country which exemplifies herself as Mata, there still are lecherous Demons who ogle every woman irespective. There is such a stark scarcity of transparency in judicial system that a person has to think thousands of times before making a conscious decision to approach the judiciary for getting justice... coz he knows he will only be handed over dates only without conclusion (Just like the Bus Conductor who was suspended in some 70's and his case is still going on) and if the accused is powerful than the victim, he gets away with his clout and money...there may be no hopes of justice being delivered. ...so many loopholes that the common man just suffers. I regret of making a decision to stay back in India when I was a teenager. From Administration to Infrastructure to Law & Order to Judiciary to Politics everything is adulterated. This might come across as a very negative remark but facts are always bitter to swallow. My Ideologies and patriotism for the country I imagined in my teens is getting dimmer and dimmer... as I am coming to experience the true scenario prevailing in the country... SO many scams, the inefficient and delayed disposal of law-suits in Indian Judiciary, shifting of economy towards only capitalism(making poor people more poorer), pot-hole filled roads every monsoon, irresponsible and indifferent governmental bodies/organisations, no rules/regulations on increasing number of four-wheelers in Mumbai instead of lack of good infrastructure, unnecessary contracts/Tolls and tenders (like Mumbai Skywalks) given to political mafia, control of the administration by the builder lobbies... sheer lack of safety for women, increasing trend in rapes on female children....the sad conditions of our Jawans on the Indian LOC instead of their huge sacrifices of comforts...and much more. Everything is so suffocating... so frustrating!!! No wonder the best of brains get drained away outside India. and now I wouldnt blame the expatriates as I used to in my younger days. Also I understand well, the sarcasm in their talks when such freinds communicate with us and why they look down upon India. No matter how many achievements we make in the field of Space research or Nuclear bombs/ missiles... till we have a lawful administration and maximum utilisatin of our resources we cannot claim ourselves to be truly a developed Nation. For, a developed nation doesnt let the common man suffer for fulfilling the wishes of the powerful few. Until and Unless we stand for our rights, we will never get justice. The influential people take advantage of the patience and silence of the common man because we allow them to! We are still not well informed and let the offenders scot-free...Let us wake up and become the voice against them because "To do Injustice is a Sin but to Tolerate Injustice is a Bigger Sin"

From my long-lost Diary...

Life after life,
Moment after moment…
Appears to be a stage show

With different characters
Taking their turns of performances…
In succession
One after the other...

Every other time they wear a different mask
Appearing in a new avatar..
Without much effort,
the real person inside hardly ever changes!

Talking of things beyond reach
Seeing hopes in abundance,
The mind wanders swiftly
with promises of sweeter tomorrows...

Do we ever realize,
What gives everlasting happiness…

The Permanent Bliss..
That Peace eternal ..
Liberation from the worldly webs…
Forever… & ever...

It is :

The ability
To see things as they are..
To look within...
To become one within this duality of existence
To live like you are never born

To Die like you will never be born again!

Paradox of Life...

Oh My Goodness!!! This was my reaction when I got to know something from a middle aged man who referred his employee labourer for treatment of acid burn on his hand. After writing a prescription, I casually asked him about the wages he gave to his workers and when I heard 25 rs an hour i.e. 180 Rs a day for an 8 hours intensive work in unhygienic and sometimes dangerous situations...that too in todays date of so much inflation, my jaw literally dropped... Immediately my mind started making analysis of the matter... in my instance for example, professionals like me charge for a consultation of 15-30 mins, double or triple the amount an average labourer earns in one single day... as a matter of fact the actual nation builders are these labourers who have to toil and sweat everyday sometimes without a single holiday to relax!!! Why so much disparity ... the haves have so much and still make so much whereas the have-nots have nothing and make nothing... I cant imagine what will a man feed to his dependants and family members or what education a father can impart to his children with a meagre salary of 180 rs a day??? And still people from higher strata keep wanting more n more to fulfill their dreams of possessing luxury brands...to splurge on their expensive n exotic vacations... Its time that we stop and reconsider this whole social ecosystem which is getting imbalanced because the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting more poorer... lest we might end up with social unrest soon... which isnt good for our future generations. Let us begin by caring for the people who work under us and serve us.. if they are unhappy we must look into their reason and extend help as and when needed, as a father looks after his children... if we become responsible for our employees, a lot many will be taken care of and gradually the circle of beneficiaries can be extended depending on the capability and willingness of the benefactor. Let us put ourselves in their shoes and Feel what they feel and see the world with their eyes... its worth taking a pause in our hectic lives busy achieving material targets because God forbid what if we may end up in their places when all of our good merits have expired and its time we get back what we may have passed on to them in some life!

From my Dearest Friend's Memoir...

Some people make you feel elated, some depress
Some make you a genius, some a fool
Some give you hopes and dreams, some only sorrows
Some always keep their door open, some close upon your face
Some befriend and make you, some spy and destroy
Some walk-in in hour of need, some look upon your deed
Conditionally some care, unconditionally some love...
.... The more you see them, the more you discover.
In the sea of so many creeds n kinds, its rare to find a true friend and am glad I met one....

From My most loving n trusted friend Rashmi :))

Luv you always... till eternity!

Yours,

Racchana

Amazingly true excerpt from someone's thoughts!

I came across someones thoughts and found them so amazingly true.. just want to keep them in my diary...
"I used to think that finding the right one was about the man having a list of certain qualities. If he has them, we'd be compatible and happy. Sort of a checkmark system that was a complete failure. But I found out that a healthy relationship isn't so much about sense of humor or intelligence or attractive. It's about avoiding partners with harmful traits and personality types. And then it's about being with a good person. A good person on his own, and a good person with you. Where the space between you feels uncomplicated and happy. A good relationship is where things just work. They work because, whatever the list of qualities, whatever the reason, you happen to be really, really good together.”

SO AMAZINGLY TRUE !!!
